The Direction I'm Bent...

Sometimes we imagine that when the wind is done blowing we will be free to stand up straight and tall once more.
To show the world the strength of our roots.
The power of trust in God.
The rewards of faith.
However, that may not be God's plan.

His intention may have a lot more to do with the direction in which I am bent once calm is restored.

When troubles come (or go, actually...) I want to be certain that the fury of the storm isn't wasted on my life, but leaves me firmly pointed in His direction.
